Abstract

The activity of catalysts based on metal oxides: Cd, Mo, Zn, Cu, Ni, Mn, Co with and without the addition of Pt and Pd in the oxidation of combustible substances (CO, CH4, NH3, and hydrocarbons) was studied. As a result of the study, the composition of the catalyst and the optimal conditions for the oxidation of hydrogen and carbon monoxide were developed, which ensures their high sensitivity and selectivity of thermal catalytic determination in the presence of combustible ingredients from the composition of industrial gaseous emissions.
