Abstract

As a result of the experiments, a thermo-catalytic method and a sensor (TCD) for determining O2 in flue gases were developed, the principle of which is based on providing an excess of a combustible component (isooctane, ethanol, etc.) over an oxidizing agent in the reaction chamber. An active and stable 0.3% Pt / Al2O3 catalyst was selected for the thermocatalytic sensor for oxygen in flue gases. The developed catalyst is characterized by high activity and stability. The dependence of the sensor signal on the supply voltage of the sensitive elements, the concentration of the components of the analyzed mixture, temperature, and ambient pressure was studied. The results obtained in this case showed that in the studied interval the dependence of the signal on the concentration has a straightforward character.
