Abstract
This article demonstrates to the advancement of algorithms for the detection and diagnosis of blood vessels in the retina based on medical images with a fractal structure. It was justified that the notion of fractals and fractal dimensions, Hausdorff-Bezikovich dimension, Minkowski-Bouligand dimension, eye disease detection algorithm, cell counting method, and updated methods in the article. In addition, retinal blood vessels were calculated using fractal dimensions. The cell counting approach and updated methods were used to compute the fractal measures of blood vessels in the retina. The formula and tables were used to provide a comparative analysis of the findings.
