SPAST Parntership Journals

SPAST began its journey in 2020 with one journal that was launched by the name of S-cube: Sustainable Solutions and Society, a journal devoted to all aspects of empowering Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations.

Background
In 2021, SPAST launched the highly successful International Conference on Technologies for Smart and Green Connected Societies (ICTSGS: www.ictsgs.com/ ). The Abstracts of this conference are listed on the SPAST Abstracts website: SPAST Abstracts

The ICTSGS conference is an effort to galvanize the academic community that forged alliances with 50 plus institutions, government bodies like AICTE and IUAC. It saw participation from 26 countries with a total of 3800 abstract submissions of which 2397 abstracts were invited to submit full-length articles. Finally, 1804 articles were accepted for publication in the Electrochemical Society’s ECS Transactions. This brings the actual acceptance rate at 47.7% (abstracts to article acceptance) for the ICTSGS conference. Several special issues with journals from ECS, ACS, Wiley, Elsevier, and Frontiers were conducted.

SPAST’s ICTSGS is one of the largest SDGs-driven conferences in the world.

Partnerships
During the course of this conference, several academic institutions approached SPAST Foundation to launch journals/proceedings in partnership with them. One such example is SEAS Transactions, which was formed in partnership with GIET University India. SEAS Transactions will be registered for indexing with the SCOPUS database as soon as our first issue is declared in August.

Approach
SPAST’s biggest success has been our close cooperation with our partner institutions with a strong policy of mutual support and shared vision. We understand that each society journal’s success relies on its editorial team and its policies. Every SPAST partnered journal will have a dedicated team of in-house editors who will be the first point of contact for your journal. A dedicated team of quality checks ensures that all your published content is consistent in its format and data sharing policies.

Visibility
The impact factor is calculated by the indexing agencies on two primary factors: quality of publications and the attention it has received from the authors of other publishing outlets. Through our editorial team, we ensure that your journal receives the articles from the relevant trending areas of research. The in-house team of editors scout for articles that would ensure a wide readership. We also have a team of IT specialists who would ensure search engine optimization for your journal’s web content across— Google, social media platforms, LinkedIn, and other reputed scientific outlets.

Networking
Every society journal is essentially a form of a scientific magazine or simply a magazine. The success of which depends on the content that it receives. Here the content is the quality of articles and the readership spectrum it covers. The fact is that articles for any journal in its initial years are mostly solicited through networking. Through our vast network and goodwill, SPAST foundation is quite successful at attracting the right kind of publication within the scope of the journals it partners with. Through our series of conferences, SPAST would ensure quality content is published in the partnered outlets.

Policies & Roadmap
We have strong policies ensuring transparency in the editorial process. Every partnered outlet will be a registered member of COPE: Committee of Publication Ethics.
